All Ireland Champs are five alive

Huge congratulations to Cliftonville Under-14s, who were yesterday crowned All-Ireland Champions.

A week on from overcoming Linfield in their Subway National League Cup decider, the Wee Reds travelled to Mullingar to take on Limerick outfit Aisling Annacotty, with a hat-trick by Keagan O’Connor, a Josh King brace and a strike from Anton Doras securing a superb 6-2 victory – and the team’s FIFTH trophy of an incredible season.

Having already won their League, our Under-14s also picked up the NI Cup and the SuperCupNI ahead of adding this week’s Subway double to their collection.

Commiserations are, meanwhile, extended to Cliftonville’s Under-15s, who suffered a penalty shootout defeat to Fairview Rangers in their own All-Ireland Final.
