Squad update
Cliftonville Football Club offers thanks and best wishes to a number of players who will depart Solitude upon the expiry of their contracts this summer.
Micheál Glynn, Reece Jordan, Sean Robertson and Oisin Murray will all leave the Reds, while the loan agreements for Joe Toole, Josh Kelly and Kyle McClelland have come to an end.
A BetMcLean Cup winner in 2025, Glynn made a total of 75 appearances for Cliftonville, scoring four goals in the process, while Jordan represented the Club 14 times after joining from Portadown in 2023.
Robertson, who arrived in north Belfast in September of last year, scored three times in 19 outings, with Academy talent Murray moving on following his first full year in the senior set-up.
Fleetwood Town loanee Toole made 22 appearances – being infamously denied a stunning goal due to the abandonment of February’s Premiership clash with Portadown – with Kelly finding the net once in 15 matches during his temporary switch from Glentoran, while McClelland was unfortunate to turn out just twice before injury curtailed his loan from Glenavon.
We extend our best wishes to every departing player and thank them for their efforts during their time with the Club.
Conor Falls has, meanwhile, returned to the Reds following his loan spell with the Lurgan Blues, while fellow frontman Eric McWoods will continue his post-surgery rehabilitation with our medical staff.
Manager Jim Magilton has offered contracts to Jonny Addis and Luke Conlan, and the Club will provide a further update to our supporters in due course.
