Cast away

Cliftonville Football Club are pleased to take this opportunity to thank our supporters for their backing during the team’s recent run of away fixtures.

After overcoming Portadown on Sports Direct Premiership duty at Shamrock Park in a rescheduled game that had originally been abandoned due to floodlight failure, the Red Army turned out in their numbers when a Clearer Water Irish Cup quarter-final contest with Loughgall necessitated a quick return to County Armagh.

A jubilant sold out away end then celebrated last-minute dramatics in the North Belfast Derby with Crusaders at Seaview ahead of Jim Magilton’s side undertaking trips to Coleraine and Glentoran over the last few days.

Whether you attended one, some or all five of our back-to-back away days, Jim and the players are hugely appreciative of your support and, with Members Tickets and Season Tickets obviously not valid for such occasions, we are well aware of the financial commitments – be they admission fees, bus entry or petrol money – that fans of all ages have made to follow their team in recent weeks.

We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible when Cliftonville return to Solitude for our final pre-split Premiership fixture against Ballymena United on Saturday night, tickets for which are currently available on General Sale.
