Completing a busy Transfer Deadline Day at Solitude, Cliftonville Football Club are very pleased to confirm the signing of Josh Kelly on loan from Glentoran.

The 25-year-old midfielder featured for Ridgeway Rovers and Crusaders at youth level before making his senior bow with Ards in 2017.

After two years with the north Down outfit, he was snapped up by Ballymena United, whom he captained during a four-year stint ahead of joining the Glens in the summer of 2023.

Though he suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury that ruled him out for virtually all of last season, he returned to fitness at the beginning of the current campaign and, with the clock having just ticked past midnight, is this morning unveiled as Jim Magilton’s eighth addition of the January transfer window.
