Merry Christmas

Cliftonville Football Club wishes all of our supporters, players, coaches, staff and sponsors a very Merry Christmas.

It’s at this time of year in particular that we also take time to remember those members of the Red Army, as well as former Managers and players, who are no longer with us and place on record our most sincere thanks to all of the individuals, groups and parties who have lent us their valuable assistance on various projects, schemes and behind-the-scenes work throughout 2025, including those who volunteered their services at The Reds Shop during a busy December.

At the end of a year that saw our Men’s team clinch the BetMcLean Cup and qualify for the UEFA Conference League alongside our Ladies retaining both the Irish Cup and League Cup as well as making history with success in the Women’s Champions League, we pay special tribute to the numerous volunteers whose dedication was a major contributory factor in everything coming together on the pitch. Not just those that you will regularly see on matchdays helping with turnstiles, ballots, programmes, stewarding, first aid, catering, kit, PA and chaplaincy, but also those most supporters may not be aware of.

These include the dozens of coaches and helpers who work with our Academy and underage teams. They give up so much of their time, often on a daily basis, to share with hundreds of boys and girls the joy and excitement of playing football. The parents, too, who put so much effort into fundraising, supplying transport to games and providing other support to the coaches.

Without such help and support from so many behind the scenes, the Club cannot grow and we heartily thank everyone involved for their dedication.

After tomorrow’s North Belfast Derby with Crusaders at a sold-out Solitude, we look forward to seeing the year out with you when we travel to Larne on Tuesday evening for our final fixture of 2025.
