Rory raines supreme

Rory Hale’s opener in the Sports Direct Premiership victory over Coleraine has been voted Cliftonville’s Goal of the Month for November.

Taking receipt of the ball after Thomas Lavery, Jonny Addis and Odhran Casey had exchanged passes, Hale laid possession off to Addis, whose forward ball into Ryan Curran’s feet led to a lay-off for Joe Sheridan to switch play wide on the left, from where Keevan Hawthorne picked out Hale for a first-time finish into the bottom corner.

The strike – which you can check out along with last month’s other nominees below – will now automatically be shortlisted for Cliftonville’s Goal of the Season at the end of the campaign.
