Game off
Cliftonville Football Club can confirm that, following a request from Glentoran to the NI Football League, this evening’s Sports Direct Premiership fixture at Solitude has been postponed.
All tickets purchased for the match will be valid for the rearranged tie, details of which will be communicated as soon as possible, while any supporters who require a refund are asked to commence the process by contacting tickets@cliftonvillefc.net.
Tonight’s postponement means that the Reds’ next action comes on Tuesday night when we begin our defence of the BetMcLean Cup against Coagh United at Solitude. Tickets for that game, which cost £10 for Adults and £5 for Concessions, are already available via our online portal, with Members and Season Ticket holders reminded that their passes will not be eligible for use.
Prior to that, however, tomorrow brings a crucial Sports Direct Women’s Premiership clash as Cliftonville Ladies take on Lisburn Rangers in their final home game of the season.
As things stand, the Champions trail Glentoran Women by two points at the summit but, with an October 12 trip to east Belfast looming on the horizon, a victory at Solitude this weekend is essential to keep the dream alive.
Kick-off is at 5.30pm, with admission set at £5 for Adults and £2 for Concessions alongside free entry to members of our Girls Academy.
In the meantime, we urge all of our supporters to take care of themselves amid the effects of Storm Amy and we look forward to welcoming you back to Solitude in the days ahead.
