Point of order
Cliftonville Football Club have this morning been directed by UEFA that our Conference League first qualifying round first leg fixture against St Joseph’s will be played at Europa Point Stadium in Gibraltar on Tuesday, July 8 with a to-be-confirmed kick-off time.
As previously advised, ticket availability for Cliftonville supporters wishing to attend this game is severely restricted due to construction works taking place at the stadium. Initially, we will be reaching out to Club Members only to ascertain who may wish to attend the fixture. Based on that feedback, the Club will consider what and how any remaining tickets can be distributed should there be any surplus.
It is unfortunate that we face such a restriction in the number of tickets available, but this is a situation over which we have no control. We strongly advise supporters not to commit to flights and accommodation bookings until and unless you are sure of receiving a match ticket.
Club Members will be contacted directly as soon as possible.
The second leg of the tie will, meanwhile, take place at Solitude on Thursday, July 17 with kick-off scheduled for 7.45pm.
