Pepp talk
Cliftonville supporters are alerted to the latest edition of the NI Football League’s Players Lounge feature.
In a 40-minute discussion with former Irish League forward Jonny Frazer, Reds midfielder Conor Pepper reflects on a career that took him from St Patrick’s Athletic in his native Dublin to Scotland, where he starred for Greenock Morton and Inverness Caledonian Thistle, and stints with Glentoran and Linfield before he ended his debut season with Cliftonville by lifting the Irish Cup on his 30th birthday.
Also sharing memories of his close friendship with the much-missed Michael Newberry, Conor talks through the associated personal difficulties he has experienced in recent times as well as looking ahead to the rest of the season, including next month’s BetMcLean Cup Final clash with the Glens, his plans for a post-playing career – and imminent parenthood.
Available on the NI Football League’s social media platforms, you can watch the full discussion in the video below.
