Next month, the world’s largest festival of traditional Irish music and culture is coming to Belfast for the very first time – and we’re inviting everyone to get into the Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann spirit by kicking off the countdown at Solitude!

As pioneers of football in Ireland, on Sunday, July 26, Cliftonville FC will be proud to throw our doors open to the local community and welcome people of all ages from near and far for a Family Fun Day celebrating the very best of Irish values.

Alongside live traditional music, Irish dancers and a host of food options from our award-winning Catering Partners Browns, we’ll be staging games on the pitch and will also be launching our limited edition Official Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann Béal Feirste jerseys – which will be exclusively revealed on our social media channels next week.

The event gets under way at 1pm and admission is entirely FREE, so be sure to mark Solitude in your diary on July 26 and join us for what promises to be a wonderful precursor to the world-famous festival descending upon our city just a few days later.
