After suffering the disappointment of penalty shootout defeat to Dungannon Swifts in the semi-finals of the Clearer Water Irish Cup, the Reds were unfortunate not to claim something from a spirited display against Glentoran that saw Joe Gormley produce a well-taken finish under the Solitude lights.

Gormley and Liam McStravick were on target during a heavy loss to Coleraine before Ryan Curran registered the only goal of a home victory over Dungannon ahead of Clifonville’s League season ending with McStravick bagging a brace in the weekend’s 2-1 win against Linfield.
