Applause for thought

Cliftonville Football Club have been proud to support the NI Football League’s new awareness campaign, #NotInOurGame, aimed at tackling violence against women and using the power of football to drive positive change across society.

To that end, we’re calling upon our fans to unite behind the cause with 30 seconds of applause in the 30th minute of tonight’s Sports Direct Premiership fixture with Glentoran at Solitude.

The initiative comes at a time when the issue remains highly prevalent in Northern Ireland. With 30 women having been violently killed since 2020, the League is using its platform to raise awareness, encourage conversation and promote responsibility across the football community.

There is no place in society for violence again women. The NI Football League, Cliftonville FC and our fellow member Clubs stand together for change.
