Vick off the mark
Cliftonville Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Liam McStravick from Airdrieonians.
The 21-year-old, an attacking midfield talent who can operate both centrally and in wide areas, returns to Solitude having been a valued member of our Academy set-up in his youth.
After departing the Reds in the summer of 2022, he scored on his Linfield debut in November of the same year and penned his first professional contract with the Blues ahead of being snapped by Airdrie.
He helped the Scottish Championship side win the SPFL Trust Trophy in 2024, scoring in their 2-1 victory over The New Saints in the Final, having also featured in their semi-final defeat of the Raith Rovers team that had eliminated Cliftonville earlier in the competition.

Unfortunately, however, the Northern Ireland Under-21 international suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury in that clash with TNS, which kept him sidelined until he made a goalscoring return to action against Livingston in March of last year.
With 17 appearances for the Diamonds under his belt this season, Liam makes his Reds comeback as Jim Magilton’s second addition of the January Transfer Window and, subject to a medical and international clearance, will be in the squad for Saturday’s Clearer Water Irish Cup fifth round tie with Dundela.
Welcome back to Solitude, Liam!
