Cliftonville 1-2 Crusaders

Cliftonville paid the price for a poor first-half as Crusaders claimed the St Stephen’s Day points at Solitude.

Jarlath O’Rourke got the final touch to put the ball in the net for the breakthrough goal before Adam Brooks’ late header doubled the away side’s advantage.

The Reds – who had twice gone close to levelling through Eric McWoods as well as Jack Keaney and Conor Pepper – pulled one back through Odhran Casey deep into injury-time but it proved too little, much too late.
