Conor Barr and Joe Sheridan featured for Northern Ireland Under-21s in last night’s European Championship qualifying victory over Malta.

Barr (pictured) played all 90 minutes of the game at The Oval, and went close to scoring when he saw a second-half effort saved by visiting goalkeeper Hugo Sacco, while Cliftonville team-mate Sheridan made a late appearance from the substitute’s bench in a 2-0 win for Tommy Wright’s side, whose qualifying campaign continues with a home game against Germany on Tuesday evening.
