Second look

The groupings for the UEFA Conference League second qualifying round have been confirmed ahead of this afternoon’s draw at the House of European Football in Nyon.

Cliftonville or St Joseph’s have been assigned as Team 9 in Group 1, with the winners of the tie progressing to face one of five potential opponents – Shamrock Rovers (Ireland), Santa Clara (Portugal), Ballkani (Kosovo), Dundee United (Scotland) or Lausanne-Sport (Switzerland).

Though a total of 88 Clubs will be involved in this afternoon’s main draw at UEFA Headquarters, a smaller number of balls will be drawn, with teams 1-5 facing those numbered 6-10 in correspondence with the numbers drawn. If, for example, 1 is matched with 6, then Team 1 will face Team 6 in each group.

First leg ties in the second qualifying round are currently scheduled in for July 24 with the return games taking place on July 31, with supporters advised that the Club is still awaiting ratification from UEFA regarding next month’s meetings with St Joseph’s and will confirm any and all developments here on our Official Website as soon as we are in a position to do so.
