Ridd letter day

Cliftonville Football Club are very pleased to announce that Lewis Ridd has signed a new contract.

The 20-year-old goalkeeper made 19 appearances during his debut season at Solitude, lifting the BetMcLean Cup and keeping back-to-back clean sheets in the European Play-Offs.

After featuring in the Swansea City youth system, Lewis joined the underage set-up at Ipswich Town and, in his time at Portman Road, undertook loan spells with Sudbury, Bury Town and Brightlingsea before moving to Derby in the summer of 2023.

A Wales Under-19 international, he spent the second half of the 2023/24 term on loan at Mickleover before signing for Cliftonville in the opening weeks of last season and has now put pen to paper on a deal that will keep him at the Reds until the summer of 2027.
