Handed an Ard task
Cliftonville will face Ards in the semi-finals of the Clearer Water Irish Cup.
Conducted by Irish FA President Conrad Kirkwood and FIFA President Gianni Infantino, this evening’s draw pitted the Reds against the Championship outfit who have already overcome Premiership opposition in Ballymena United and Loughgall to reach the last four.
The game – which is scheduled to be played at a to-be-confirmed venue on either Friday, March 28 or Saturday, March 29 – will be the sides’ second meeting of the season, with Cliftonville having scraped through a penalty shootout following a goalless County Antrim Shield first round encounter back in September.
