Cliftonville 2-2 Portadown

Cliftonville were made to pay for not holding on to a lead as Portadown twice battled back to earn a share of the spoils in this afternoon’s Sports Direct Premiership encounter at Solitude.

Ahead through Ryan Curran just past the half-hour mark, the Reds were almost immediately pegged back when Ahu Obhakhan flicked in a well-taken equaliser.

Good work from Eric McWoods and Curran teed Rory Hale up to make it 2-1 early in the second-half but, again, the hosts failed to build on their advantage, with Josh Ukek’s header ensuring a point apiece come the finish.
