Chipping in

Joe Gormley’s second strike against Loughgall last weekend has been voted Cliftonville’s Goal of the Month for November.

After racing on to a sumptuous throughball from Micheal Glynn, the striker lifted his shot over the advancing goalkeeper with his left foot and watched on with delight as the effort clipped the post en route to the back of the net.

The finish – which you can check out along with last month’s other nominee below – will now automatically be shortlisted for Cliftonville’s Goal of the Season at the end of the campaign.
