Sean Stewart and Shea Kearney helped Northern Ireland Under-21s to a 5-0 victory over Azerbaijan at The Ballymena Showgrounds this afternoon.

Stewart was named in the starting line-up for the European Championship qualifier, in which the hosts were four goals to the good by the time Cliftonville team-mate Kearney was introduced from the bench – and he wasted little time in making an impact; his cross being turned into his own net by goalkeeper Rustam Samigullin.

Tommy Wright’s side complete their Group F obligations away to Luxembourg on Tuesday, with all at Solitude wishing Reds duo Stewart and Kearney well for that game.
