Final say on Cup joy

Many thanks to everyone involved for supporting last night’s charity fundraiser at Solitude.

Pretty n Pink were the beneficiaries as the Social Club played host to an evening of Irish Cup celebration, with Manager Jim Magilton and assistant boss Gerard Lyttle joined by players Jonny Addis and Conor Pepper to talk supporters through extended highlights of May’s historic victory over Linfield.

Reflecting on their tactical approach to the game and the various challenges that were presented throughout the Windsor Park showdown with the Blues, management and players alike offered an insight to the work that took place on and off the pitch to ensure the trophy would take up long-awaited residence at Solitude.

As well as expressing our gratitude to host Michael Hegney, our event organisers and ticket holders for playing their part in such a brilliant night, we also thank Jim, Gerard, Jonny and Conor for giving up their spare time to not only share their memories with the fans but for playing their part in raising welcome funds for a charity that holds a long association with Cliftonville FC.
