A quarter given

Cliftonville will face Ballymena United in the quarter-finals of the County Antrim Shield.

The Reds defeated Ards 9-8 on penalties in last night’s first round tie and have this evening been handed a last-eight encounter with the Sky Blues at Solitude on Tuesday, October 8.

The winners of the tie will progress to an away semi-final against either Glentoran or Carrick Rangers.
