Cliftonville Football Club are very pleased to announce the signing of Shaun Leppard.

The 23-year-old central defender joins from Institute following a stellar campaign in the Playr-Fit Championship.

After featuring in the Derry City underage set-up, Leppard joined Stute in the summer of 2017, since when he has gone on to produce a string of eye-catching performances in the Drumahoe outfit’s backline, recently being named Championship Player of the Year at the NI Football Awards as well as being named in the division’s Team of the Year.

Voted Manager’s Player of the Year, Players’ Player of the Year and Supporters’ Player of the Year during his final season with Institute, Leppard becomes Cliftonville’s third signing of the close season as preparations for the Reds’ return to European action continue.
