Pen to Pepper
Cliftonville Football Club are very pleased to announce that Conor Pepper has signed a contract extension.
A versatile performer during his first season with the Reds, the Dubliner – who joined from Linfield in the summer of 2023 – made 29 appearances last term, including a starring role in the historic Irish Cup Final victory over the Blues on his 30th birthday.
A former Republic of Ireland Under-19 international, Pepper – who can operate in both defence and midfield – began his senior career with St Patrick’s Athletic and moved to Inverness Caledonian Thistle before winning the Scottish League one title with Greenock Morton in 2015.
His first taste of Irish League action came when he was snapped up by Glentoran three years later and, having subsequently featured Linfield, put pen to paper with the Reds on the eve of the 2023/24 campaign, with supporters doubtless looking forward to seeing him in a Cliftonville shirt again next year.
