Cliftonville Football Club extends best wishes to Danielle Maxwell following her move to Blackburn Rovers for an undisclosed fee.

Recently crowned the Sports Direct Women’s Premiership Player of the Year for 2023, the 21-year-old former Carnmoney youngster joined the Reds from Glentoran in 2022 and played an integral role in John McGrady’s side winning the League title.

Similarly influential in the team’s County Antrim Cup and League Cup triumphs last term, Danielle – who has also made a firm impression on the international stage with Northern Ireland in recent months – departs with all at Solitude offering thanks for her services and sincere best wishes for life in the English Women’s Championship.
