Cliftonville Football Club are pleased to announce the signing of Paddy Burns.

The 23-year-old former Academy star returns to Solitude following a successful spell in the United States with Notre Dame University, with whom he won the Atlantic Coast Conference title in 2021 and, as captain of the team, featured in all 22 of The Fighting Irish’s fixtures last term.

A Northern Ireland underage international, left-back Paddy enjoyed Premiership experience with Glenavon during the 2019/20 campaign and becomes Jim Magilton’s final addition of a Transfer Window that welcomed the arrivals of Ben Wylie, Shea Gordon, David Odumosu and Eric Yoro.
