Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas from Cliftonville Football Club.

As 2023 draws to a close, I would like to take this opportunity, on behalf of all at Solitude, to thank you for all your support this past year.

In football we ride the rollercoaster of of the highs and lows on the pitch along with the challenges off it. However, at our core we strive for continual improvement in all we do.

I would like to pay special tribute to the numerous volunteers who help us in that aim. Not just those that you will regularly see on matchdays helping with turnstiles, ballots, programmes, stewarding, first aid, catering, kit, PA and chaplaincy, but also those most supporters may not be aware of.

These include the dozens of coaches and helpers who work with our Academy and underage teams. They give up so much of their time, often on a daily basis, to share with hundreds of boys and girls the joy and excitement of playing football. The parents, too, who put so much effort into fundraising, supplying transport to games and providing other support to the coaches.

Without such help and support from so many behind the scenes, the Club cannot grow and I know you will all join me in thanking them all for their dedication.

Have a Merry Christmas, and a happy and peaceful New Year.
