After overcoming Institute in a BetMcLean Cup tie that saw Ben Wilson, Rory Hale and Stephen Mallon on target, the Reds put five unanswered goals past Dungannon Swifts on a day that saw Joe Gormley and Sam Ashford on the scoresheet following Wilson’s hat-trick.

A Rory Hale goal was enough to see off Glenavon at Mourneview Park and, though Cliftonville were unlucky to suffer a narrow reverse against Linfield, they got back on track when finishes from Wilson and Ashford earned victory at Coleraine yesterday.
