Sept in stone

Congratulations to Ben Wilson, who has been voted September’s Player of the Month by Cliftonville supporters.

The 21-year-old striker – who also claimed August’s accolade – found the net in the Reds’ County Antrim Shield clash with Carrick Rangers, completed the scoring when Crusaders were overcome on Sports Direct Premiership duty at Seaview and then hit doubles in victories over Ballymena United and Coleraine.

In addition to commending Ben on landing this latest honour, we also place on record our thanks to the many hundreds of supporters who took the time to get involved in voting and look forward to similar engagement when the time comes to determine October’s top performer.
