Joe Gormley’s rasping volley against Coleraine has been voted Cliftonville’s Goal of the Month for September.

Reacting quickly after Ronan Doherty’s fierce delivery had been nodded away from immediate danger, Gormley controlled the ball with his head before lashing an unstoppable left-footed strike into the net for the second goal of his three goals on the night.

The effort – which you can check out along with last month’s other nominees below – will now automatically be shortlisted for Cliftonville’s Goal of the Season at the end of the campaign.
