The month ahead: September

Cliftonville face seven fixtures across three competitions in the month ahead – and will kick September off with five consecutive away games.

Following tomorrow’s Sports Direct Premiership clash with Glentoran at The Oval, the Reds travel to the Loughview Leisure Arena for a County Antrim Shield first round tie with Carrick Rangers on Tuesday.

Next Saturday sees Jim Magilton take his side across the Irish Sea to tackle Raith Rovers in the third round of the SPFL Trust Trophy ahead of a North Belfast Derby duel with Crusaders at Seaview on Monday, September 18.

Five days later, Cliftonville face Ballymena United at The Showgrounds before returning home for a rearranged Premiership tussle with Coleraine on the 26th, with Loughgall our visitors on the final day of the month – so be sure that all of those dates are in your diary as the Reds gear up for another busy few weeks.
