Ronan away with things

Ronan Hale clutched a hat-trick of honours at the Cliftonville FC Awards this evening.

Staged at Belfast’s Hilton Hotel, the occasion saw Hale formally acknowledged for his 29 goal haul by landing the Top Goalscorer accolade before being nominated Players’ Player of the Year by his team-mates.

No sooner had he got to grips with that gong than he was being presented with the Official Club Player of the Year award following an online vote among supporters.

Sean Moore was, meanwhile, lauded as Young Player of the Year alongside Joe Gormley’s blistering strike in April’s 3-3 draw with Crusaders being named Goal of the Season.

Congratulations to all our winners and thank you to everyone – particularly Kevin Crossan – for their assistance in organising the event, with further gratitude extended to compere extraordinaire Gerry Kelly and the Hilton Hotel staff for their professionalism and dilgence throughout the night.
