A 53-team knockout competition comprising Scottish Premiership B sides and Clubs from Scotland’s Championship, League One, League Two, Highland and Lowland Leagues, the Reds – who qualified by virtue of being the Sports Direct Premiership’s highest-placed non-European participants – will be joined by Coleraine and Welsh representatives The New Saints and Bala Town as the tournament’s cross-border entrants.
