Double Dutch joy

Congratulations to everyone involved in the Cliftonville Academy’s latest tranche of trophy success.

Over the weekend, our Under-8s travelled to the Netherlands for the Trinitas Oisterwijk International Football Festival – and emerged with two pieces of silverware for their efforts after emerging on top of Groups A and B having locked horns with opponents from Germany, Belgium and France.

Closer to home, meanwhile, the Reds’ Under-8 Development side celebrated victory at the Portstewart Cup for the second year in a row, further adding to our Under-11s’ triumph at the Crumlin United Festival of Football tournament earlier this month.

A huge well done to every player, coach and proud parent who contributed to these achievements, and we look forward to the youngsters’ continued development in the years to come.
