O’Hara’s forward thinking

Declan O’Hara says it’s important for Cliftonville to look forward to the challenge that will be presented by tomorrow’s Danske Bank Premiership clash with Glentoran at The Oval.

The Reds travel to east Belfast on the back of a hugely deflating midweek defeat by Larne but, having digested the disappointment that accompanied that game, Assistant Manager O’Hara believes last night’s positive training session can lay the groundwork for a return to winning ways.

“When you go to The Oval, it’s always a difficult game but, from our point of view, it’s all about which Cliftonville teams turns up,” he says.

“The boys have to get their heads back on and look forward to it. We’ve a good record at The Oval and it’s always a good game between the two teams.

“It’s a difficult place to go to and, as disappointed as everyone was with how things went on Tuesday, as a staff, we know how important it was to make sure we got our boys prepared at training last night to be ready for Glentoran because we have to get three points.”
