Cliftonville’s Logan Wallace captained Northern Ireland Schoolboys in this evening’s Centenary Shield clash with the Republic of Ireland at Blanchflower Stadium.

Fellow Reds representative Michael Morgan, who is currently on loan at Newington, scored for the home side shortly after Eli Rooney had put the Republic ahead.

Niall Holohan’s goal on the stroke of half-time ultimately settled the issue in favour of the visitors, leaving Northern Ireland to turn their attentions to their concluding fixture against England on Friday, April 14.
