Reds are Dun over again

Cliftonville 1-2 Dungannon Swifts

For the second time in a fortnight, Cliftonville were stunned by defeat to Dungannon Swifts at Solitude.

Two weeks on from suffering Irish Cup elimination at the hands of Dean Shiels’ side, the Reds were rocked by two late goals in a devastating Danske Bank Premiership comeback this afternoon.

Deservedly ahead when Ronan Hale nodded home, Cliftonville’s failure to kill the Swifts off came back to bite when Padraig Lynch levelled on 89 minutes ahead of Joseph Moore’s injury-time winner.

Cliftonville: Gartside, Addis (C Curran, 46 mins), Gallagher (Gormley, 57 mins), Rory Hale, R. Curran, Lowe, Doherty, Turner, Ronan Hale, Coates (Parkhouse, 90 mins), Moore (Rocks, 76 mins). Unused subs: Donnelly, McDonagh, Robinson.
