House in order

David Parkhouse says Premiership points – not Irish Cup retribution – must assume Cliftonville’s full focus for tomorrow’s encounter with Dungannon Swifts.

Just a fortnight on from their Cup quarter-final meeting, the sides reconvene at Solitude on League duty, with Parkhouse determined that the Reds build on Monday’s battling draw with Crusaders.

“We have to go out there and we have to get the three points because it is a big game,” he insists.

“Every game is a cup final between now and the end of the season.”

On a dramatic North Belfast Derby, he adds: “I felt, and I’m sure everybody else would agree, we were well in the game.

“We had to come back and I think we held our own and our energy levels were brilliant and we were unfortunate not to hold onto all three points.”

You can read the full Parkhouse interview in tomorrow’s edition of our Matchday Magazine, which will be on sale at Solitude for £3.

Carrying pre-match views from the Manager’s Office, The Red Eye’s 23rd issue of the campaign looks at the Swifts’ survival push and carries Red Arnie’s latest quiz – plus plenty more besides.
