Tunnel down
Rory Hale has stressed the importance of Cliftonville retaining “tunnel vision” for the rest of the season.
Ahead of tomorrow’s Danske Bank Premiership fixture with Glentoran at a sold-out Solitude, Hale insists that agonising over previous results or contemplating future outings is a futile endeavour with so much on the line.
“The big games keep on coming,” he says.
“It’s important for us not to get too carried away and look at games further down the line. Tunnel vision is required.
“There is no point getting carried away with ourselves and thinking about games further down. It’s just three points for Saturday and that’s it. It’s worked for the last 18-months to two years – one game at a time.”
You can read the full Hale interview in tomorrow’s edition of our Matchday Magazine, which will be on sale at Solitude for £3.
Carrying pre-match views from the Manager’s Office, The Red Eye’s 21st issue of the campaign assesses the Glens’ recent charge and steps 92, 34 and 25 years down memory lane – plus plenty more besides.
