Wee Reds on Final countdown

Cliftonville Strollers booked their place in the Harry Cavan Youth Cup Final with a 2-1 victory over Dungannon Swifts Under-18s at Solitude this evening.

Kevin McGuinness bagged a double to overcome the holders and send the Wee Reds through to the decider, where they will face either Ballinamallard United Under-18s or Maiden City Under-18s.

McGuinness opened the scoring after just seven minutes and made it 2-0 on the stroke of half-time, with Padraig Lynch pulling one back early in the second period before the away side were reduced to 10 men when Darragh Stewart was sent off.
