Gall to play for

Chris Gallagher believes Cliftonville still have plenty in the tank after an encouraging first half of the season.

The Reds play host to Linfield in a rearranged Danske Bank Premiership encounter this evening and midfielder Gallagher insists the team has not yet fully clicked despite finding themselves in the upper echelons of the standings.

“The position that we’re sitting in in the table, it just makes it an even bigger game and one that we’re all looking forward to,” he says.

“I think the pleasing thing is that we haven’t been at ourselves and we haven’t been firing on all cylinders this season, but we’re still in the mix.

“We’re joint top but we’ll not look too ahead of ourselves. We’ll just keep plugging away a game a time and see where it takes us.”
