Quarter given

Cliftonville will face Newry City in the quarter-finals of the League Cup.

This evening’s draw paired the holders – whose defence of the trophy has thus far included defeats of Harland & Wolff Welders and Carrick Rangers – with Newry in a tie scheduled to be played at Solitude on Tuesday, November 1.

The winners of the tie will tackle either Coleraine or Dungannon Swifts in the semi-final.
