Food for thought on matchday

Cliftonville Football Club’s first Matchday Lunch of the season took place ahead of Saturday’s Danske Bank Premiership victory over Newry City.

As well as savouring a two-course meal with wine at Cliftonville Bowling Club, attendees at the sold-out occasion enjoyed a Question & Answer session with NI Football League Chief Executive – and, of course, former Reds Chairman – Gerard Lawlor.

The Club places on record our sincere thanks to everyone involved in organising the event – including Supporters Liaison Officer Michael Hegney – as well as to Gerard Lawlor, plus all the staff at the Bowling Club and, indeed, to those who graced us with their attendance and we look forward to your company at our next such occasion, which will be our annual Matchday Christmas Lunch in advance of the Premiership clash with Portadown on Saturday, December 17 – for which full details will soon be confirmed.
