Sept to vote
Saturday’s SPFL Trust Trophy tie with Queen’s Park brought the curtain down on a busy September for Cliftonville, but who do you think was the team’s star man during the period?
After Ronan Hale and Ryan Curran netted in a 2-1 win over Portadown at Shamrock Park, goalkeeper Fynn Talley made the decisive intervention when the Reds’ County Antrim Shield clash with Bangor progressed to a penalty shootout.
Hale was joined on the scoresheet by two-goal Joe Gormley in a comfortable League Cup success against Harland & Wolff Welders before converting the late free-kick that earned all three points in a Mourneview Park encounter with Glenavon.
This weekend, meanwhile, saw central defenders Colin Coates and Jonny Addis on target in an absorbing SPFL Trust Trophy duel with Queen’s Park in what was Cliftonville’s only home fixture throughout September.
