The month ahead: September

Cliftonville face six fixtures across four competitions during a busy month of September action.

After travelling to Portadown on Danske Bank Premiership duty this Saturday, the Reds face Bangor in a County Antrim Shield first round clash at Clandeboye Park on Tuesday evening.

Glentoran are our visitors on Friday the 9th before Paddy McLaughlin’s side begin their defence of the League Cup with a first ever trip to Harland & Wolff Welders’ Blanchflower Stadium four nights later.

An away date with Glenavon on the 17th concludes Cliftonville’s Premiership commitments for a month that ends with a home tie against Scottish Championship side Queen’s Park in the third round of the SPFL Trust Trophy on Sunday the 25th.
