Saturday’s 4-2 victory over Dungannon Swifts brought the curtain down on the opening month of Cliftonville’s Danske Bank Premiership campaign, but which player do you think stood out most during August?
After commencing with a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Coleraine, the Reds responded with a 3-2 win over Carrick Rangers thanks to goals from Ronan Hale, Ryan Curran and Joe Gormley.
Curran – who had also netted in that reverse against the Bannsiders – joined Luke Turner on the scoresheet in a 2-1 victory at Ballymena United before the week’s triumph over the Swifts; Hale on target before a deflected Cricky Gallagher drive, an own goal and smart Chris Curran finish wrapped things up.
