Social mobility

Last season saw the biggest ever expansion of Cliftonville FC’s social media portfolio and we want to make that supporters around the world are fully connected with us across a range of platforms for the 2022/23 campaign.

In addition to our long-standing Twitter and Facebook accounts, the past year has also seen the launch of the Club’s Official Instagram page, the return of our YouTube channel and our arrival on Giphy, where fans are invited to download Reds-related GIFs for personal use, with similar content now built in to pre-existing libraries on both Twitter and Facebook.

Twitter
Your most comprehensive source of news from Solitude, @cliftonvillefc kicks your week off with some #MondayMotivation, provides daily delves into the ‘On This Day…’ archives and carries build-up and reaction to Men’s and Ladies’ fixtures as well as invoking some glorious memories courtesy of both our Goal of the Day and #ThrowbackThursday features.

On matchdays, meanwhile, we hand across to @RedsByTheMinute, where you’re provided with vital in-game updates.

Facebook
Another outlet which ensures you miss no breaking stories, our Facebook feed also carries Goal of the Day videos and crucial matchday ticketing and admission information.

Instagram
A streamlined combination of the above platforms, the Club’s Instagram page is home to some of our most exclusive output courtesy of the Stories element that lets followers enjoy some bonus footage and behind-the-scenes access.

YouTube
Carrying match highlights, new season build-up and post-match interviews, our YouTube channel is your one-stop shop for video material.

Giphy
The latest addition to Cliftonville Football Club’s social media portfolio has certainly proven a hit among supporters, with our Official Giphy account having surpassed five-and-a-half million views since its launch.

Available to download directly to your device, you can also use an assortment of hashtags to access our imagery through the GIF libraries on Twitter and Facebook – simply search for #cliftonville.

We’re aware that many of our supporters don’t necessarily have the time to regularly scroll through timelines over the course of a day and that’s why we’ve introduced material to our Facebook and Instagram stories, so that the most notable daily updates are all collated in one place for you to peruse at your leisure, ensuring you need not miss out on anything while you’re busy at home, work or just enjoying some free time.

As well as the content we’ve been sharing as bonus features, fans can continue to look forward to more behind-the-scenes coverage on matchdays and catch-ups with the players throughout the 2022/23 campaign.

So, whatever your social media platform of choice, make sure you’re following the Official accounts of the ONLY Irish League Club that guarantees you fresh uploads every single day:
