Tough customers

Declan O’Hara says that Cliftonville are primed to tackle a wounded Dungannon Swifts side at Stangmore Park this evening.

The teams go head to head on Danske Bank Premiership duty just three days after the hosts suffered a five-goal defeat by Linfield and, while the Reds maintained their recent fine form with a 2-0 victory over Glenavon, Assistant Manager O’Hara is well aware that Dean Shiels will have his men fired up to produce a response.

“It’ll be a tough, tough game as they always are down there,” he says.

“They’ll be hurt after what happened on Saturday and the tight pitch makes things difficult but, for us, it’s all about looking after ourselves and making sure we prepare properly.

“Dean has them playing some good football so it will be tough, but every match in this League is tough so it’s something we’re used to week in, week out and we just need to make sure we keep going about our business the same way and doing the right things.”
