Absolutely febulous for Paddy

Congratulations to Paddy McLaughlin, who has today been named February’s Aktivora Manager of the Month by the NI Football Writers’ Association.

The Reds won all five games during a run that started with a Samuel Gelston’s Whiskey Irish Cup defeat of Carrick Rangers to set up this evening’s quarter-final with Coleraine – and the boss is determined to kick on.

“I’d like to thank the Football Writers and their sponsors for this award,” said McLaughlin, who also landed September’s accolade.

“To finish the month with a 100% record is a fantastic achievement. It’s a reflection on the whole team and backroom staff, not just me.

“I can’t praise the boys enough for the work they have put in this season. We will keep that going until the end of the season.”
